Overseas projects:

Ian spent several years in Sudan and Tanzania with Africa Inland Mission. He is currently a director with Christian Engineers in Development, a group whose engineering skills and Christian faith mix in the service of local communities beyond the reach of commercial organisations. At present he has special concern for Zanzibar Cathedral; CED is supporting the local Diocese in finding solutions for the cathedral’s fabric… the roof is in danger of collapse. The office is currently advising several groups in building and appropriate technology matters. We are supporting Africa Inland Church Tanzania with a project to introduce cement stabilized building blocks; elsewhere we are designing an orphan home and primary schools.
